What if I don’t get in?
A university should always give you feedback on why you were unsuccessful. It may feel very disappointing, however there is often something to be done. Consider your options based on your feedback:
Reason | Action | |
---|---|---|
You didn’t have the correct pre-entry qualifications | It’s unlikely that you will have got to the interview stage if you didn’t have the correct qualifications. Complete the qualifications required (evening classes, distance learning, etc) and apply again. | Apply Again |
You didn’t show adequately enough that you understood what the course was for | Develop your understanding of the course and career. Perhaps shadow someone, request work experience linked to the role. | Apply Again |
